Sabotage?!?! Accident?!?!

THE SANCTUARY ROOF HAS CAVED IN!! Although it is widely believed that it was an accident and bound to happen, I am sure there are secretive forces of destruction at work in the studio. As I built the roof with my own capable hand, I am sure it would not have collapsed in ten years without interference from a mysterious attacker/attackers. I am not ashamed to say that I have wept openly over the damage, seeing pictures on the blog of the roof in its prime bring a saddening to my heavy heart. But still, out of the fires of destruction will come the new born beauty of tomorrow. I can only hope that I will some day soon find the strength to carry on the cardboard cause. Presently, the sanctuary is an empty shell of its former self...

the Sanctuary 2.0

The new roof...

Disaster recently struck the sanctuary! The roof had to be reconsidered, as it was a sagging tape-smothered mess. We came up with a plan (shown right) and put it into motion...

The wonderful world of Youtube

As we try and expand our horizons, and look for more ways to push the boundaries of what we're doing with the Sanctuary, we decided to delve into the fantastic world of Youtube to gather more knowledge and inspiration from fellow visionaries working with cardboard.

This gentleman seems to be having fun with cereal boxes. Good on him. (The Star Destroyer was a favourite).

Our Messiah - Chris Gilmour

It's all about cardboard

While wondering through the shops of Winch, we couldn't help but notice the cardboard influence. Look at this beauty!

Pictures!

'it's just a sample, really'

Here are a few pictures from the sanctuary. It's all rather premature at the moment, but I'm sure anyone would agree that we are taking some tiny baby steps into some extremely interesting territory. Neil has kindly illustrated much of the outside wall, producing some interesting results, such as these rather phallic mushrooms. We consulted Neil as to whether this was an intentional design consideration or maybe a glimpse into his mysterious past. He refused to comment.

The Archway - Work in Progress

Today was a busy day for the sanctuary. As this photo shows, Josh and Neil (aliases TBA) were hard at work improving the aesthetics of the project. The photo shows part of the archway, which was eventually torn down in an artistic rage due to unforseen gravitational issues. A letterbox has also been added, allowing people to post their comments and suggestions for improvement of the project. These notes will undoubtedly be posted on the blog at a future date.
